Bread Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 10 slices of bread, white or brown
  • 1 litre, milk, full/half or low fat
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavour
  • 14 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 pinch, cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp. butter

Method:

Cut the bread slices into small cubes and soak in 34 liter milk mixed with sugar. Add the eggs and mix with a egg beater. Add the vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon powder and butter. Mix well and pour onto a greased pan. Steam for 25 to 30 minutes.
